Event Overview

CAR T-cell treatments have delivered promising results for treating hematological malignancies. However, trials with solid tumors have had disappointing outcomes. One major difficulty in developing CAR T-cell therapies against solid tumors is a lack of spatiotemporal information, which would allow researchers to more effectively monitor T-cell trafficking and distribution within tumors. Advanced imaging methods can provide this information and support therapeutic efficacy predictions. In this webinar brought to you by Miltenyi Biotec, Rita Pfeifer will discuss using 3-D light sheet fluorescence microscopy (LSFM) to analyze CAR T-cell infiltration in solid tumors at single-cell resolution.

Topics to be covered

  • Investigating CAR T-cell infiltration with LSFM
  • 3-D visualization of CAR T cells in a subcutaneous xenograft model of pancreatic cancer at single-cell resolution

  • Thursday, December 9, 2021
    11:00 AM - 12:00 PM Eastern Time
