Human pluripotent stem cells (hPSCs), including human induced pluripotent stem cells (hiPSCs) and human embryonic stem cells (ESCs), offer unique advantages for developmental studies. They can be employed in a patient-specific way to identify molecular lesions and aid in therapeutic development.
