Course Overview

The light microscope allows scientists to explore the miniature world with ease, yet this very accessibility can lead to confusion and frustration in the research laboratory. Researchers must adopt experimental approaches based on established guidelines for microscopy as a discipline. Although it can be simple to view a specimen or capture an image, it takes time and effort to develop the skills and mindset required for rigorous and reproducible experiments.

This Technique Talk will describe how to develop light and fluorescence imaging techniques for obtaining more representative and reproducible images.
